Hocus Pocus (1st Level Remake)
A downloadable game for Windows
This is just a project I made for fun and learning. I tried using Game Maker Studio to recreate the first level of the game "Hocus Pocus", made by APOGEE for the "MS-DOS", to the best of my ability.

Thanks a lot for creating a remaster of this game, even if its only the 1st level. I've played this game so much on the shareware version while younger, have the steam version, but I have to admit that your version is really good. Hope to see one day the entire game remastered.

I had a lot of fun coding this project, despite the headache I had trying to replicate the physics as close to the original as I could ^^'

Hey, I'm glad you liked it! I really enjoyed working on this project, as this game is very nostalgic for me. I currently have no plans to update it any further and I don't know the legality of distributing multiple levels of a game that is still being sold on Steam by 3D Realms. It would be different if it were considered abandonware. If you really like it, consider buying the original: Hocus Pocus on Steam (steampowered.com)
