A combination of the action and difficulty of the Classic Mega Man with the exploration of an interconnected map in the best Metroidvania style.

(in portuguese)
* The game is challenging, with a huge variety of obstacles and puzzles that will force you to think outside the box, using your available skills creatively. In some cases it is necessary to combine multiple skills to progress in your adventure;
* Battles against Bosses (two for now) that will test the limits of your agility;
* Secret passages and illusory walls, rewarding the most attentive players;
* Retro music and graphics, inspired by 8-bit and 16-bit games;
* Supports XInput (XBOX Controller).
CONS:
* Difficulty may discourage casual players. The game is aimed at the "hardcore" audience. Still, it is possible to open the "PASSWORD"s menu (TAB on the keyboard / START on the XBOX controller), which allows you to enter the following cheat codes:
"GODMODE ON" - activates invulnerability;
"GODMODE OFF" - disables invulnerability;
"1 HIT KO ON" - activates fatal shot;
"1 HIT KO OFF" - disables fatal shot.
But as a developer, I suggest you to NOT DO THAT! The fun of the game lies in the satisfaction of overcoming difficult obstacles. The PASSWORD menu is ONLY included for those who can't progress despite numerous attempts, but still want to know what happens in the game;
* R-BETA is still in development. There are paths that lead to nothing, but the good news is that I am developing new areas as you read this. Updates will be made constantly, however, I'm working on this project alone, so a new release might take a while to come out.

Hi.
Quite nice looking game.
Unfortunately, I can't get it running under Linux. Any Chance for a Port?
Greetings
Valentin
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the graphics!
I do intend to eventually port it to Linux, but I want to complete the Windows version first. Making 2 ports simultaneously would delay development, since I'm working on this project alone.
However, while there is still no official Linux port, I believe you can run this version of my game on your OS with the Wine emulator.
I haven't tested it myself, so I can't confirm its effectiveness, but from what I've seen, it's very good at emulating games with simpler visuals, like this one.
I hope this helps, thanks for your comment!
Hi.
Thanks for your fast reply. Usually I do play Windows-Only Games via wine, but wasn't able to fire your game up using it. Hard to say if it is a problem of Gamemaker Studio or my configuration, might try on my laptop on another day.
However: If you someday have a Linux-Built and want to have it tested, reach out to me! :)
Keep it on, Greetings
Valentin
I didn't know Wine had this problem with GMS games, I'm sorry to hear that. I searched a bit online, it seems that Wine has an issue with the Graphics Device Interface API. The best I can do for now, is recommend you to try it with different Windows Emulators, like QEMU.
If I find out any information that might help you to run my game on your device, I'll let you know.
Also, when I have a working Linux build, I'll make sure to notify you ;)
